ASSESSMENT & CERTIFICATION

Here is where you find all you need to know about the assessment and certification parts of the training.

We have worked closely with the International Institute for Complementary Therapists, our accreditation partner, to create a training with integrity and professional recognition. The below outlines the assessment elements required in order to receive your ‘Certificate of Completion’ for the Embodied Awakening Academy’s Tantra Practitioner Training. You have 18 months from the date of purchase of the assessment add-on to complete the assessment requirements. After this time, access to the assessment process will expire. (We may accept a 6-month extension in extenuating circumstances.)

This 18 month period gives you up to a year to work through the training materials (if you follow the one module per month structure), and an additional 6 months to complete the required practice sessions etc. You can also submit your completed assessment sooner than 18 months if you move through the training quicker. We will take approximately 2 months after submission to complete final assessment and issue your Certificate of Completion.

You will also require the Certificate of Completion to seek membership and insurance from the International Institute for Complementary Therapists (more details on this below) under the modality of ‘Tantra Practitioner (no sexual contact)’. This modality is an existing category under IICT, that our training was placed into. This category means you cannot have any sexual contact with a client (genital touch etc), which aligns with the teachings in the training.

COMPULSORY ASSESMENT REQUIREMENTS:

1. Attend two assessment check in calls

As part of the assessment process, you are required to attend 2 check-in calls with a member of our assessment team, at the beginning and towards the end of the training to ensure that you understand and are following the assessment requirements, and to ask any questions you may have. It is also an opportunity to check in around any feedback you may have received and to ensure you are in the best position to pass and therefore become certified.

2. View 100% of the required learning portal material (Module 1-12)

This is tracked automatically within the learning portal.

3. Submit short form written question answers (M1-12)

Each module has 4 – 6 questions, related to key teachings in the module, requiring short form written answers.

4. Submit Session Feedback Forms (Module 3-12)

These forms are to be given to your clients for them to reflect and give feedback on the session you gave them for Modules 3-11.

5. Submit Practitioner Self-Reflection Forms (Module 3 -12)

These forms are for you to reflect on sessions you give for Modules 3-12.

6. Submit Final Assessment of Recorded Session Video (Module 12)

To complete your assessment requirements, at the end of Module 12 you will be required to submit a filmed session with a client. This filmed session will be the basis for your final approval and certification.

REGISTRATION WITH THE INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTE FOR COMPLEMENTARY THERAPISTS (IICT)

Once the Academy has offered you your Certificate of Completion you are eligible to applying for professional membership and insurance with the IICT. This is not a compulsory requirement, but is highly recommended to give you professional recognition, credibility, and insurance.

About IICT Membership & Insurance:

IICT Membership provides you professional recognition and credibility for your complementary therapy practice. As well as industry support and resources to grow your practice, IICT Membership grants you access to insurance with the IICT’s trusted partners with cover for all approved modalities.
Your insurance policy is a separate product to your IICT Membership and is not included in your membership fee. If you also work with other modalities, you can cover multiple modalities in the one insurance policy.
Insurance with the IICT provides you with professional indemnity and public and products liability insurance for all approved modalities listed on your IICT Membership.
The general modality that the Embodied Awakening Academy training program falls under with the IICT is “Tantra Practitioner / No Sexual Contact.”
Once your membership application is lodged with the IICT, it can take approximately 2-4 weeks for approval.
IICT Membership is recognized in 35+ countries worldwide; however, international modality recognition is subject to the approval of regional insurance partners, regulation of ‘protected titles’ (see below), and regional/state training requirements. It is your responsibility to be aware of any License(s), Registration(s), and regional/state training requirements in the countries/regions in which you are teaching courses.
